1. Scope

This notice applies to QPP Signal’s public website, project-screening form, specialist-partner form, and privacy-request form. It does not govern a specialist’s separate website, engagement, or professional services.

2. Information we collect

When you submit a form, we collect the fields you provide, which may include your name, work email, company, role, location or coverage area, public source URL, project dates, and free-text notes. Please do not send tax returns, government identifiers, personal financial information, proprietary plans, or confidential client records.

Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

3. How we use information

  • Respond to a project screen, partner inquiry, or privacy request.
  • Verify public project facts and evaluate whether a specialist conversation may be useful.
  • Connect an interested requester with a screened engineering-tax specialist.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

4. When we disclose information

We may disclose submitted business information to service providers that host or support the site; to professional advisers; or when required to protect rights, safety, and legal compliance. We will identify a screened specialist and ask for your permission before sharing your submission for a project-screen handoff. A specialist is responsible for its own privacy practices after that handoff or a separate engagement.

We do not rent contact lists or use submitted information for cross-context behavioral advertising. A specialist may pay QPP Signal a flat marketing or appointment fee for a requested introduction; that compensation will be disclosed before you authorize the handoff.

5. Tracking and cookies

The public pages do not intentionally use third-party advertising or cross-site analytics trackers. The protected founder dashboard uses authentication needed to control access. Because the public site does not intentionally track visitors across third-party sites, it does not take a different action in response to legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals. Third-party links are governed by their own policies.

6. Retention and security

We keep submitted information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described, legal obligations, disputes, and security. Records have a default review point of 24 months and may be deleted sooner on a verified request. We use access controls and service-provider safeguards, but no internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted. We may need to verify your email and may retain limited records when legally required. You can also opt out of commercial email using the method included in the message; we will retain the minimum suppression information needed to honor that choice.

8. Business audience and changes

QPP Signal is designed for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. If this notice changes materially, we will update the effective date and post the revised notice here before applying materially different practices to previously collected information.
